Behavioral Health Practice
Dr. Centore is a nurse psychologist who helps individuals with health, illness, or pain concerns have the highest possible quality of life. She works with symptom management, pain management, comfort measures, work issues, and stress. She works with your audiologist, dentist, nurse practitioner, physician, or other health care provider - including your CAM provider to offer customized treatment.
With a combined thirty years in psychiatric nursing and mental health, Dr. Centore offers pain / illness management, psychotherapy, biofeedback, hypnosis, and patient advocacy. When health issues take a prominent role, life changes and distressing emotions occur. These may interfere with mood, sleep, appetite, concentration, decision-making, personal relationships, and enjoying life. With complex physical problems, there is often little time to discuss options and less to discuss comfort measures. Your values, priorities, and concerns need full consideration so you can make the best decisions possible for your health.
